Your Favorite Third Wheel
I’ve always loved art. I originally went to college planning to become an art teacher—until a slightly impulsive decision led me to switch gears and pursue nursing, just a few classes shy of my associate’s degree.
During nursing school, I felt a familiar pull back to creativity and finally treated myself to an entry-level DSLR. Photography had always been a dream, and once I picked up a camera, I was instantly hooked. I started out photographing landscapes and still life, fully convinced I would never photograph people. As a self-proclaimed awkward introvert, that felt like a hard no.
But things change.
After a few years working as a nurse, connecting with strangers became second nature. That same instinct now shapes how I approach my craft—leading with empathy, patience, and an understanding that most people don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera right away.
You don’t need to be confident or polished to create meaningful images. I’m here to support you through the moments that feel awkward, help you relax, and take the pressure off so you can focus on simply being present.
Camera in hand since 2012, photographing people, their stories, and the pets they love since 2016.
