I’m Raquel, a freelance photographer serving Northwest Georgia and beyond. I’m a mama, married to my college sweetheart, and drawn to life as it unfolds. While my background is in nursing and rooted in caring for others, photography has always had my heart. It became even more of a creative outlet for me after my dad unexpectedly passed away. The photographs I have of him are what I often return to… proof of love, of life, and moments that meant more than I ever realized at the time. That experience shapes the way I photograph today—with intention, patience, and a deep respect for how meaningful these images become over time.

My style is timeless and vibrant, filled with honest emotion, bold color, and real connection. I use a mix of gentle guidance and natural prompts so you feel comfortable, confident, and completely yourself in front of the camera. And don’t worry—I’ll happily get a little cheesy, climb on the ground, or do whatever it takes to get the shot.

Because I also work as a nurse and care deeply about the details, I take on a limited number of sessions each month. This allows me to give every client my full attention and ensure you love every image in your gallery.
